ANA X Inc. (President and CEO: Shinichi Inoue, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “ANA X”) and APOLLO, Inc. (CEO: Yuki Ogawa, Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “APOLLO”) incorporated Orbitics Inc., a new company mainly focused on database marketing, on March 3, 2022 (Thursday), with the objectives of expanding the value provided to our customers using data analytics, and providing the data analyses and solutions development operations of the ANA Group.

The company name is a portmanteau of Orbit (the orbit of heavenly bodies and artificial satellites, etc.) and Analytics (analyses). It encompasses the existential significance of “a company which arrives at the wide-ranging business goals aimed for by the ANA Group and its clients by accurately ascertaining their trajectories (orbits) and using data analytics” and the intention that “we want to be a company which keeps the focus on the future of the company we envision ourselves (our trajectory) and steadily continues to growth toward a bright future.”

ANA X will incorporate the wide range of knowledge in data analytics, AI development and utilization in business, etc. possessed by APOLLO to practice strategic and agile database marketing, and work on the development of specialized human resources to serve as the data scientists in the ANA Group. We will link this to the accelerated rollout of platform services which utilize the big data accumulated at the diverse touchpoints between ANA Group and its customers and alliance partners to expand the value provided beyond just aviation.
