Envisioning a TaaS Platform that offers seamless, integrated travel searching, reservation and management – and information gathering during the trip – from a single smartphone
- ANA X will develop a new TaaS platform that allows seamless, integrated searching, reservation and management of not just airline tickets, but also hotels, car rentals, activities and more, all from a single smartphone.

ANA X Inc. (President and CEO: Shinya Kanda, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Hereinafter ANA X) will develop a new TaaS* platform that allows seamless, integrated searching, reservation and management of not just airline tickets, but also hotels, car rentals, activities and more, all from a single smartphone. In addition to the benefit of being able to save and use miles with each reservation, the service will be developed to offer new value for the travel experience by providing location and other tailored information for each reservation during travel and recommended highlights.

Users’ needs continue to diversify as the number choices grows together with the digitization of travel, and ANA X keenly felt the need to offer an even more convenient travel service that strengthens the sales of hotel reservations, car rentals and other services while also reducing the complexity for users.
The new TaaS platform being launched by ANA X envisions providing a seamless and stress-free experience to search, reserve and manage not just airline tickets, but also hotels, car rentals, activities and more.
As the first step of achieving this vision, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 a major renewal was released of the ANA domestic reservation service, expanding its line-up of facilities and improving the usability of the reservation menu. Going forward, ANA X will continue to make incremental updates to its services and expand usage to include hotel, car rental and activity searching and reservations to offer a seamless, integrated travel service all from the smartphone.
■Overview of the TaaS Platform Vision
〇 Create a seamless, integrated TaaS platform that allows management and provisioning of experiences and consumption activities before and during travel all from a single smartphone.
〇 Offer a simple, convenient service that provides users a central point to make reservations through the ANA Milage Club app or ANA website for airline tickets, hotels, car rentals, and activities.
〇 Centralize reservation information to offer added-value information before and during travel such as tailored, local recommendations and coupons that can be used at the destination.
〇 Offer a new customer (travel) experience that allows users to look back on their trip and share their schedule with others.
〇 Save and use miles for all reservations.
〇 As the first step, ANA X released a major renewal of its domestic hotel reservation site ANA Traveler’s Hotel. The facility line-up was expanded to approximately 12,000 locations and the usability of the reservation screen was improved.

■ Future Initiatives
ANA X will incrementally integrate new services such as car rental, activities and overseas travel products into its TaaS platform and expand the ANA website and app to offer simple and convenient management of all services. ANA X will furthermore improve the convenience of its services to save and use ANA Miles to expand the ANA Economic Zone.
