ANA X Inc. (President and CEO: Kazuhiro Todoroki, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will begin selling new ANA Traveler’s Online Tours from 14:00 on June 2 (Thursday). The tours will be held from late-June to early-July.

This time, ANA X has prepared a newly-themed course, along with a revamped course of a tour that was well-received when it was held in September 2021.

■ Hanging out in the Cotswalds in the evening time

The “hang out overseas” series of ANA Traveler’s Online Tours has been very favorably received. The latest tour will comprehensively showcase the appeal of a popular village in the Cotswalds region that is lined with traditional, honey-colored English houses.

On this tour, staff stationed in England will deliver the history and culture of the Cotswalds region, the traditions handed down there and the area’s typical English shops, hotels and pubs, via a mixture of broadcasts and prerecorded VTR.

 　Additionally, the latter half of the tour will feature an afternoon tea lecture on the appeal of English tea. This will be presented at Huffkins, a tea rooms that has been operating in the Costwolds region of England since 1890. Those taking part will be able to enjoy interactive communication through a quiz and a Q&A corner. The tour will also be a fun way of preparing for trips in the future, because participants will be shown around as though the staff are traveling alongside them.

　~ The appeal of the Czech Republic and Pilsner Urquell, its representative beer ~

For this tour also, Yuske Sato, the first person in Japan to qualify as a Pilsner Urquell Tapster – a specialist in pouring Pilsner Urquell, the Czech Republic’s representative beer – will appear live to discuss everything from the appeal of Pilsner Urquell to providing advice on the delicious way to pour beer. His talk will be interwoven with videos showcasing the Czech Republic’s attractions.   

 On the day, a question-and-answer corner will be set up using Zoom’s Q&A function, so by all means enjoy communicating with Mr. Sato also. 　

 Additionally, as a bonus we have prepared two cans (360ml) of Pilsner Urquell beer, one beer mug designed exclusively for drinking Pilsner Urquell, and recipes of dishes recommended by Mr. Sato.

　ANA Traveler’s obtained a license to sell alcoholic beverages by mail order from May 2022. Because customers no longer need to carry out a separate process to buy alcohol and can instead buy it at the same time as the application procedure for tours, the process has become more convenient and easier to understand.
