ANA X Inc. (President and CEO: Shinichi Inoue, headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will begin sales of online tours to be held in March on Thursday, February 10 at 2 p.m. This time, two new themes will be available.
１“Imoore! Take a trip to Amami while at home” A journey to surrender to nature
Livestream online tour from the islands of Amami Oshima, Yoronjima, Okinoerabujima, Tokunoshima and Kikaijima
In 2021, the islands of Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima were registered as World Natural Heritage sites.
The breathtaking scenery of the forest area, which accounts for 80% of the Amami Islands, and the coral reef sea that surrounds the islands as if to protect them, will be livestreamed from the five islands of Amami Oshima, Yoronjima, Okinoerabujima, Tokunoshima and Kikaijima. This time, we have a tie-up with Peach, the only LCC that operates direct flights from Narita and Kansai to Amami Oshima, and Peach’s flight attendants will also appear live.
In addition, Tochi-Dochi (*1), the directly-managed store selling regional products that opened near Seijogakuen-mae Station on Sunday, January 16, is collaborating with the Amami Islands of Kagoshima Prefecture through Thursday, March 31. It is selling local specialty products and crafts that can normally only be purchased on the islands. The online tour will also introduce popular products in the store. The online tour will offer livestream shopping that allows participants to purchase the introduced products on the spot while enjoying the tour.

In 2015, Shinichi Aoki[ID1] , the first owner of the farm, passed away suddenly in the midst of pursuing his ambitions. At the time, Shinichi’s wife Miho Aoki[ID2] thought about quitting farming, but women with specialty professions such as nursery school teachers and social scientists gathered around her to preserve the natural cycle and rich blessings of Aoki’s fields for the future, which led to the establishment of “Aoki Organic.”
The harsh natural environment of Kyotango City, located in the northernmost part of Kyoto Prefecture, and the nutrition-rich soil of the fields that have been cultivated over the past 20 years, produce fresh and delicious vegetables that can only be tasted here. The vegetables will be delivered to your home in a kit. The contents of the fresh vegetable kit are planned to include Chinese cabbage rape blossoms, purple and red carrots, leafy onions, salad vegetables, and various seasonings.
The chefs at Double Doors’ “ITADAKIMASU FOOD HALL” will introduce recipes using these vegetables and actually cook them. You can enjoy the tour at your own convenience by cooking together with them at home or watching the chefs at work. In addition, there will be a segment where the producers and chefs will answer questions about ingredients and cooking using the Zoom Q&A function.
