ANA Traveler’s Online Tours~ New itinerary: Experience the Aurora in Alaska, the Last Frontier ~
ANA X Inc. (President and CEO: Kazuhiro Todoroki, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) commenced sales from 14:00 on September 21, 2022 (Wednesday) of the ANA Traveler’s Online Tours to run in October.

On this tour, customers are guided from Fairbanks, Alaska, a Mecca for aurora enthusiasts, with a live broadcast using a live camera.
Wildlife and nature photographer Takashi Nakashima1, who is based in Alaska, will explain about the aurora and teach customers how to skillfully take photographs of the aurora. Moreover, he will introduce basic knowledge of and ways to enjoy a winter Alaska trip in general, not only the aurora.
We have also prepared a Q&A corner using ZOOM functions for during the tour. Customers can enjoy real-time exchanges with Takashi Nakashima.
So that our customers can enjoy the feeling of Alaska as much as possible, in addition to the “Viewing only” Plan we have prepared the “ANA Traveler’s Original” Plan including Alaska Goods.

Zoom will be used for this event, so if you do not have the Zoom app, please download it in advance.
Notes:
Subject to weather conditions and signal quality, the live broadcast may be partially changed to a video recorded in advance. (Due to the condition of the radio wave environment, Takashi Nakashima will provide guidance indoors at a separate location from the live broadcast area.)
Your questions will be answered using the Zoom Q&A function. Please understand in advance that due to the composition of the tour, we may only be able to answer some of the questions.
The delivery address for the “ANA Traveler’s Original” Alaska Goods must be an address inside Japan.
The goods shall be shipped within approximately 10 days after the viewing.
Note 1: Profile of Takashi Nakashima
Takashi was born on Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, in 1982. He was raised in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture. He graduated from the College of Bioresource Sciences, Nihon University and studied photography at an advertising company. From 2008 Takashi studied abroad at the University of Alaska and started taking wildlife photographs. In 2016 he held his first exhibition “The Environment of Life” in the Lexus Nara Hachijo store in Nara Prefecture. He has written a book titled A Round Melody: Connections of Life Seen in Alaska.
Currently, he is engrossed in photographing the island wolves living in Alaska, and when he returns home to Japan he focuses on Yoshino Forest. While continuing these activities, he also searches for signs of the Jomon wolves which used to live in Japan.

2021 Won the Epson Photo Grand Prix In addition, since 2015 Takashi has been working locally in Alaska as a nature photography instructor and nature guide and an aurora photography instructor on tours organized by travel agencies.
