■ANA Travelers Overseas Online Tour: An invitation from Empress Elisabeth of Austria

Professor Yoshiko Yamanouchi, a specialist in 18th and 19th century Austrian culture and history from the Kobe City University of Foreign Studies, joins us for a tour of the locations and a look back on the times and culture of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, who is beloved by many to this day. We also hear from designer Monika Buttinger, who faithfully reproduced the favorite dresses of Elisabeth, a lover of beauty and fashion, about how the dresses came to be. 

Four options are available: the Viewing-only Plan; the Café Set Plan allowing you to taste Vienna’s café culture with coffee and cake delivered to your home from Julius Meinl, one of Austria’s oldest coffee houses; the Traditional Flavors of Austria Plan featuring soup and bread from Ginza Habsburg Veilchen owner and chef Shingo Kanda; and as a special event, the Vienna Evening Plan, in which you will savor the traditional cuisine of Ginza Habsburg Veilchen as you view the online tour, accompanied by a performance of the ANA Philharmonic Orchestra.

■~Go deep behind the scenes at the aquarium! Learn about dugong ecology and the work of an aquarist~

  Toba Aquarium in Mie Prefecture is home to the largest number of species of any aquarium in Japan. Hear from the deputy director, a specialist in dugong, about the ecology of these creatures found only at Toba Aquarium and how they are looked after.

On this tour, you will have the chance to do something quite unusual: look behind the scenes underwater and watch a live broadcast of Serena the dugong having her lunch.

We also have an option for you to view the online tour from Mie Terrace, the specialty shop in Nihonbashi, Tokyo that promotes Mie Prefecture. Following the viewing, there will be a raffle and more.
